La population de la commune est pass&eacute;e de 5225 habitants en 1982 &agrave; quelques 8500 habitants depuis l&#39;am&eacute;nagement du Coteau Sud. Deux stations existent &agrave; Venelles : une station au nord, rue Eug&egrave;ne Bertrand qui a atteint sa capacit&eacute; de 1000 habitants, et une station au Sud, rue de la Touloubre, pr&eacute;vue pour 8000 habitants, qui accueille actuellement&nbsp; les effluents des 7500 autres habitants.
